AP16 will be held in Singapore, Far East Plaza from 1-3 July 2016.

- How do I get to the event venue if I were to go on my own?
The nearest MRT (train system) station is Orchard (NS22).
CONTEST FAQ
- Who can compete?
Anyone who has registered to compete will be eligible to take part in this event.
- What Divisions are there?
There will be 5 main divisions and the Champion of Champions event.
The main divisions are 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A.

-What are the criteria to be a Seeded player for my country?
Firstly, you need to be a citizen of the country you competed at. Secondly, you need to be the champion of your country’s National contest. Lastly, the contest that you won must have been a 2 or 3min Freestyle performance.
- What if the country’s National Champion for a division can’t come?
If the National Champion is unable to attend, the seed will not be fulfilled. All 1st runner-ups and 2nd runner-ups, regardless of whether the National Champion is competing, will have to undergo the 1 minute qualifiers.
- What if I’m the only player from my country coming?
Unless you are a seeded player, you will still be required to go through the qualifying rounds to make it into the finals.
- What are the dates for the event?
1st July is the qualifying round (1 Minute Freestyles). 2-3rd July are the freestyle 3 Minute finals.

- How do I register for the event?
Click on the Registration page on the website to register yourself as a competitor.
- Can I register onsite instead of the website?
No, once the registration is closed (15th of June), you will not be allowed to register.
FIRST TIMERS FAQ
- What are seeded players.
Seeded players are winners of the last National Yo-Yo contest in one of the recognized countries from the Asia Pacific endorsed by the Asia Pacific Yo-yo Championship committee. They go directly into the finals (3 Minute Freestyle) of their respective divisions without having to qualify.
- What Divisions are there?
There will be 5 main professional divisions. The main divisions are 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A.
- Do I have to pay for admission to watch the event?
No, the event is an open-to-public free event.
- Do I have to pay if I compete?
Yes, competitors will have to pay a registration fee if they want to compete. Please refer to the registration page for the full details.
